Accessibility Statement

Effective July 9, 2026

South Orlando CrossFit (“SOCF”) is committed to making our website and our gym experience accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that fitness is for every body and we work to remove barriers that would keep anyone from training with us.

Our commitment

We are working to conform this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML structure with meaningful headings, landmarks, and form labels.
  • Descriptive alt text on photos of the gym, coaches, and community.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background across the site.
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, buttons, and forms — no mouse required.
  • Focus states on interactive elements so keyboard users can see where they are.
  • Text that resizes cleanly without breaking the layout.
  • Responsive design that adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.

In the gym

Our gym floor at 40 West Illiana Street is a single-level space with ground-floor access. Programming can be scaled for injuries, limitations, or disabilities — every workout has an adaptive version. If you have a specific concern about physical access or program modifications, please reach out before your first visit and our coaches will walk you through what to expect.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on this site may not yet be fully accessible. Third-party services we link to (PushPress checkout for drop-ins, the Recovery Room booking site) are controlled by outside vendors and may have their own accessibility posture. We are actively reviewing new pages and features against WCAG 2.1 AA before publishing.

Assistive tools

This site is designed to work with modern screen readers (including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS), voice-control tools, and browser zoom up to 200%. If you use assistive technology and run into a problem, we’d like to hear about it so we can fix it.

Contact us

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or if you would like to request information in a different format, contact us and we’ll do our best to help within a reasonable timeframe:

trevor@southorlandocrossfit.com or (407) 565-9553. 40 West Illiana Street, Orlando, FL 32806.

Please include the page URL, the issue you ran into, and — if possible — the browser and assistive technology you were using. That helps us reproduce and fix the problem quickly.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review this statement and our website periodically and update it as we improve. This statement was last reviewed on July 9, 2026.
